GPSpeed ("GPSpeed", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how GPSpeed accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the GPSpeed mobile application.

By using GPSpeed, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

In short: GPSpeed is designed primarily to process riding information and recordings on your device. GPSpeed does not operate its own server for intentionally storing your GPS routes, videos, or microphone recordings.

1. Information We Access

Location Information

GPSpeed uses your device's location services to provide riding features such as:

GPSpeed's riding and route information is intended to be processed locally on your device. GPSpeed does not intentionally sell your location information.

Camera

GPSpeed requests camera access when you use video recording. Camera data is used to display the camera preview and record riding videos, including dashboard information generated by the application.

GPSpeed does not intentionally upload your camera recordings to GPSpeed-owned servers.

Microphone

GPSpeed requests microphone access to record audio together with your riding video.

GPSpeed does not intentionally upload your recorded audio to GPSpeed-owned servers.

Videos and Ride Recordings

Videos and ride recordings created by GPSpeed may be stored locally on your device. These recordings may contain camera footage, audio, GPS route information, speed, altitude, direction, and other riding statistics displayed by the application.

2. How We Use Information

GPSpeed uses information accessed through the application to:

GPSpeed does not use your GPS routes, camera recordings, or microphone recordings for its own advertising purposes.

3. Advertising

GPSpeed may display advertisements using Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, including App Open Ads and other advertisements that may be added to the application.

Google and its advertising partners may collect or process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, app interactions, diagnostics, and other information according to their applicable policies and your device or consent settings.

Advertising providers may use information to provide, measure, and improve advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance.

4. Third-Party Services

GPSpeed may use third-party services and software libraries to provide application functionality. These may include:

5. Data Storage

GPSpeed is designed to process your riding information primarily on your device.

GPSpeed does not operate a server that intentionally receives and stores your GPS routes, camera recordings, microphone recordings, or riding videos.

Temporary files may be created on your device while GPSpeed processes or exports videos. Temporary processing files may be deleted after processing.

6. Data Sharing

GPSpeed does not sell your personal information.

GPSpeed does not intentionally share your GPS routes, videos, or audio recordings with third parties for their own purposes.

Information may nevertheless be processed by third-party services required to operate certain features, including advertising services provided by Google.

You may also choose to share recordings or other information yourself using your device's sharing functionality.

7. Permissions

Location

Used for GPS speed, route, distance, heading, altitude, and related riding features.

Camera

Used to record riding videos and display the camera preview.

Microphone

Used to record audio.

You can manage GPSpeed's permissions through your Android device settings. Some features may not work if a required permission is denied.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

GPSpeed does not intentionally maintain a remote database of your GPS routes, recordings, or audio.

Data created by GPSpeed may remain on your device until you delete it. You can delete recordings using the application's available controls or your device's file-management tools.

Uninstalling GPSpeed may remove application-specific data, subject to Android's storage behavior and files that you have manually moved or shared.

9. Children's Privacy

GPSpeed is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a dedicated online account or registration system.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to GPSpeed in a manner that raises a privacy concern, please contact us.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by GPSpeed. However, no electronic storage system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should also protect your device with appropriate security measures, such as a screen lock and current operating-system updates.

11. Your Choices

You can control GPSpeed's access to device permissions through Android settings.

Disabling permissions may prevent certain GPSpeed features from working.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when GPSpeed's features, services, or legal requirements change.

When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be updated.
